Sign in with a passkey
There is no password to invent or forget. When you sign in, parc.land asks your device to vouch for you — a fingerprint, a face, or a screen unlock — and that is the whole door. Your key never leaves your device, and there is nothing to leak. Register once and every visit after is a tap.
Capture your first fact
Everything you keep here is a fact — the smallest useful unit. A fact can be a note to yourself, a link worth saving, a task, a person, a decision you made and why. You don't choose a folder or a format; you just write it down, and it becomes a durable, findable thing.
"Remembering" is the verb parc.land uses for saving. When you remember something, it is stamped with when it happened and who (or what) wrote it — so a fact always carries its own small history.
Find it again
You never lose track of what you saved, because the substrate offers several ways back to it:
- Search — type a few words; it looks through the substance of your facts, not just their titles.
- The graph — your whole slice as a sky of connected points. Related facts sit near each other, so browsing is a kind of remembering.
- Salience — the substrate quietly ranks what matters, so the things you return to, link often, or touched recently float up first. You rarely have to go looking; the important surfaces on its own.
The graph is your workspace
Signed in, your workspace is the graph — the full map of your slice, not a list. Pan across the sky, and the facts drift with you. Tap a point to select it; its details open in place. It's built to feel like moving through a place rather than scrolling a feed, so exploring and remembering are the same motion.
Make it yours over time
As you keep more, a little structure helps, and parc.land makes it optional and lightweight:
- Types tell a fact what it is (a note, a task, a doc) and how it should be shown and opened — so a task looks like a task without you styling anything.
- Tags group facts across types, however you think about them.
- History stays with every fact: what changed, when, and by whom. Nothing is overwritten into oblivion — you can always see how a thing got to now.
That's the whole loop: remember, find, connect, return. Everything else — types, sharing, agents, cells — builds on it.
